Many products need packaging machines to pack, so how should we choose the right packaging machine to pack our products? What should we attention to when buying a packaging machine?
Choose the packing machine type according to pouch type:
VFFS packaging machine, which using plastic film roll to form fill seal the package, and maily producing pillow bags, standing bags, 4 sideas bags and gusset bags, using film roll as the packaging material, will be a lower cost and high efficiency option for most products.
Rotary packing machines are using pre made pouches to pack products, there will be 8 steps of the packing machine, will be able to feeding the pouches automaticly and open the pouch, and fill the products inside, then seal the pouches.
Advantages of pre-made pouches: perfect out looking.
Disavantages of pre-made pouches: higher cost and slower packing speed.
Choose the right dosing and feeding system
Packing machine should works with differerent kinds of dosing system according to different natures products, then you may need to choose correct type of it.
For free flow type granules like beans, rice, chips, sugar, etc, multi heads weigher or linear weigher or volume cups will be the option.
For non free type powder products like flour, milk powder, corn powder, protein powder, it needs screw filling system
For liquid & sauce products like oil, liquid milk, hot sauce, ketchup, they needs piston pump filling system.
